Summer vacation looks a bit different this year so we're helping you embrace the STAY-cation!

We're all trying to stay closer to home this year and while that might mean your typical summer vacation was canceled, it doesn't mean there's no way to enjoy the summer. So, we've compiled a list of staycation spots within driving distance of Collegeville. Stay safe and enjoy!

1. The Blue Water House

The colorful façade will make you smile, and the laid-back, beachy atmosphere, whimsically tropical rooms and exceptional service will keep the good feelings going. You’re just an easy walk or bike (complimentary ones are available) to historic downtown Lewes and the Delaware Bay beaches.

2. Hersey, PA

Talk about sweet. Hershey is a town where lampposts are shaped like Hershey's Kisses and the pervasive candy theme is just chocolate icing on the cake. The big draw is Hersheypark, whose impressive array of roller coasters make it one of the best theme parks on the East Coast.

3. The Southern Mansion

Famous as an incredible wedding venue and just steps to the best beaches, shops and restaurants in South Jersey. Originally built in 1863, and completely restored to its original beauty the Southern Mansion is set on one-and-a-half acres of award-winning gardens in Cape May’s historic district. The Southern Mansion is the largest and most opulent Cape May bed and breakfast, featuring the largest rooms and suites the area has to offer.

Staying Home Instead?

Luckily there are lots of ways to still enjoy the summer while staying safe.

4. Skytop Lodge

One of America's best all-inclusive resorts for families, the Skytop Lodge in Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains has been welcoming families since 1928.

There's a huge choice of activities, including zip-lining, kayaking, archery, tennis, boating, biking, rock climbing, and hiking, plus an excellent supervised children’s program, and golfers get a bonus that’s virtually unheard of: unlimited greens fees.

5. Atlantic Hotel

Though the razzle-dazzle of Ocean City is only a few miles away, the charming village of Berlin and its tastefully Victorian centerpiece hotel will sweep you back to another time and a serene state of mind.

What do you have planned for this summer?

If you're like us, the summer also means moving. If you're planning on selling your home this summer, let's talk.
